Unfortunately we are closing.
The taproom will close except for delivery of our original bottle release on August 27. Bottle pick up is scheduled for Friday 9/1/17 from 5-9PM and Sunday 9/3/17 from 3-5PM. If you have not pre-ordered bottles will be available for sale on a first come first serve basis. Our taps will also be open for flights, pints, and growlers until they run dry.
The response to our beer from those who have tried it has been awesome. Unfortunatley most of our customer base has been with people who are passing through, giving us great reviews on the location and our beer (check us out on UNTAPPD), but local support has been insufficient to meet our needs and keep us open. We do appreciate our loyal local base (you are more than customers, but friends). Unfortunately there just weren’t enough of you.
Our final day as a tap room will be Aug 27, except for delivery of our initial (and only Bottle release).
ThIs limitted bottle release will only be available for purchase and pick up in NC. It will consist of our 9 mainstay beers while they last (Strange Brew, Heather Hearth, No Eye Deer, Columbus Barefoot Honey Pale, Belgian Wedding, Navy Squid, Lucky 13). There will be 27 bottles of the full release available (all 7 beers).. The cost of the 22 oz bottles is $12.5 per bottle for six or more bottles or $14.99 forless than 6 . Our bottle release weekend is 8/26-8/27. The last day to order is 8/31/2017 and the last day to purchase (or recieve your order) is 9/08/2017. We will initially bottle a maximum of 30 bottles of each beer unless we recieve orders in excess of that for the extended release (maximum of 60). This is a one time release and will not be duplicated. You may order at the Brewery duruing our release weekend or by messaging us on facebook.
Nestled at the foot of the Saluda Grade, We are starting to realize our dream of a brewery, taproom, and Music Hall. Our Goal is to create a comfortable family and pet friendly place to kick back with friends for conversation, games, and great music while enjoying quality, locally brewed, beer and ale. We hope to do our part to promote the Craft beer community of the Carolinas, especially that of the Western parts of the NC & SC. We also want to be an excuse for you to stop off and enjoy beautiful Polk County, NC and to enhance your visit, if you are already here, encouraging you to … Stay … just a little bit longer ** (or a wee bit longer, as my Grandmother would have put it).
Locally brewed on tap
We are now at the point of populating minimum of 10 of our 12 taps with our own creations, including a mild blond augmented with local honey (a local favorite), full flavored, well balanced, Scottish ales, IPAs, ambers, stouts, and porters. We try to offer something fabulous for each beer lover’s taste. Currently our most popular are Heather Hearrth (our flagship Scottish), Navy Squid (our fabulous double IPA), Strange Brew (black coffee IPA), No Eye Deer (our imperial Stout), and of course the aforemention Columbus Barefoot Honey. Samplers are available as flights of 4 (biplane), 6 (stealth bomber), or 9 (flight log). We always have a guest tap of locally made cider and usually at least one guest beer from the region. We also try to carry local gluten free options, including beer, cider and a good sampling of local wines.
Friday Nights and Sunday Afternoons we typically offer up some of the best local and regional talent in the area in what many of our musicians have called the best music space (acoustically) in the area. Dartboards, outdoors and indoor games, 3 TVs (offering what ever televised event is of interest) and a dog & child friendly envionment round out your experience.
Although we designate Thursday nights as open mic and jam our stage is open to talent on any night that does not already have a band scheduled
Friday 9/1/17 : 5 PM – 9PM
Sunday 9/3/17 3 PM – 5 PM
